Tim Linley, Director of Bands
Mr. Linley has served the Centennial Band and Frisco ISD since Centennial High School's opening in 2003, first as Associate Director and currently as Director of Bands. As Director of Bands for the Centennial High School Cluster, Mr. Linley conducts the Centennial High School Wind Ensemble, co-conducts the Concert Band and directs the Centennial Marching Band in addition assisting with the Symphonic Band and Symphonic Winds and collaborating at Clark and Wester Middle Schools. Mr. Linley received his academic training at Baylor University in Waco, TX, receiving his Bachelors degree in Music Education. He is an avid student of conducting, having studied both domestically and abroad as a student of Michael Haithcock (University of Michigan), Timothy Reynish (Royal Northern Conservatory - UK), Kevin Sedatole (Baylor University/Michigan State University), and Jeffrey Grogan (New Jersey Symphony Orchestra). Mr. Linley's bands consistently earn superior ratings at Univeristy Interscholastic League Marching, Concert and Sight-reading contests. Under his direction, CHS Wind Ensemble has earned numerous accolades including being named 2007 TMEA Honor Band "Runner Up", 2008 Capital Music Festival Grand Champion and 2010 Elitch Gardens Music Festival Grand Champion. Likewise, the Centennial Marching Band is a regular top 10 finalist at Invitational, Regional and Area Marching Contests and was awarded 17th place at the 2007 UIL Texas State Marching Contest. His professional affiliations include: the Texas Music Educators Assocation, Texas Band Masters Association, North American Saxophone Alliance, World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He resides in Frisco with his wife, Kristen.

Kelly Wykoff, Associate Director of Bands
Ms. Kelly Wykoff is in her second year as an Associate Director at Centennial High School. Originally from San Antonio, Ms. Wykoff graduated with a Bachelors degree in Music Education with a concentration in trumpet from Texas Tech University. During her time at Texas Tech, she performed with the Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Goin' Band from Raiderland, and Court Jesters basketball band. She also worked in the Lubbock area teaching private lessons, masterclasses, and working as a marching tech in the fall. In the summer of 2007, she performed with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. Prior to being at Centennial, she student taught with Bill Centera at Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, TX. As Associate Director, Ms. Wykoff conducts the Symphonic Winds and Jazz Ensemble, as well as assists the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band and Concert Band.

Michelle Meneses, Associate Director of Bands
Ms. Michelle Meneses is in her first year as an Associate Director at Centennial High School.  Ms. Meneses graduated with a Bachelors in Music Education with an emphasis in bassoon from Baylor University.  While at Baylor, she performed with the Baylor University Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Women's Chorus and various chamber ensembles.  While obtaining her degree, she taught bassoon and flute lessons in the Waco Area as well as maintaining a position as Marching Tech at her alma mater, McKinney North High School.  Ms. Meneses was a student teacher at Centennial HS and Clark MS in the Spring of 2009.  Prior to teaching at Centennial, Ms. Meneses taught at Lake Travis ISD as the Assistant Band Director of Hudson Bend Middle School and Lake Travis Middle School.  Both her non-varsity ensembles received successful ratings at contest and her Hudson Bend ensemble received a "Best in Class" award at the Texas Music Festival.  Her responsibilities at Centennial High School include teaching the Symphonic Band, team teaching the Concert Band and assisting with the Marching Band.

Chad Wallace, Cluster Director of Percussion
Mr. Wallace serves as Director of Percussion Studies for the Centennial High School Cluster. He coordinates all Percussion instruction and events at Centennial High School, Clark Middle School and Wester Middle School. Prior to his appointment with the Centennial Band, Mr. Wallace served as Director of Percussion for The Colony High School in Lewisville ISD and as Percussion Coordinator for Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, TX. Mr. Wallace's groups as both state honor band finalists and state marching band contestants and have also performed at the prestigious National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis, IN. Under his direction, the TC Drumline became the official drumline of the NHL’s Dallas Stars for 2006 and 2007, performing at playoff games, in television commercials, and various Stars promotional events. While at West Briar in 2004, Mr. Wallace’s percussion ensembles won the U.S. National Grand Championship from Music Showcase Festivals with a perfect score of 100. They were featured on many local news stations and toured the Houston area performing in several select venues.

Mr. Wallace received his B.S. in Music Education from Austin Peay State University where he studied with David Steinquest. While at APSU he arranged and instructed for The Governor’s Own marching band and played set for the Jazz Band I and the Jazz Combo I. He is an active clinician, adjudicator, and performer throughout Texas and his native Tennessee. He holds professional memberships in the Texas Music Educators Association, Percussive Arts Society, and Phi Mu Alpha. Mr. Wallace is an educational endorser of Evans Drum Heads and Innovative Percussion. Mr. Wallace also writes and arranges percussion arrangements for many high schools and colleges throughout the United States. Mr. Wallace resides in Frisco with his wife, Robin.

Brian Greenleaf, Director of Color/Winterguard
Mr. Greenleaf joined the Centennial Band Staff as Guard Director in 2005. Prior to coming to CHS, Mr. Greenleaf has been the Color Guard director for the Haltom High School color guard program. The Haltom color guard has been a consistient medalistist in the North Texas Color Guard Association's Circuit Championships, as well as a Winter Guard International finalist. Prior to coming to Texas , Mr. Greenleaf was the Color Guard Director for The Union Public Schools in Tulsa , Oklahoma where he administrated and taught over 100 students in grades 6 thru 12.

Mr. Greenleaf has been active in Marching Band, Winter Guard, and Drum and Bugle Corps as a designer, technician, clinician and consultant since 1989. In addition to public school teaching, Mr. Greenleaf has instructed the Suncoast Sound Drum and Bugle Corps, the Black Gold Drum and Bugle Corps, and has served as the caption head for the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps. Mr. Greenleaf also founded the five time WGI finalist. Black Gold Winter Guard from Tulsa , Oklahoma.

Mr. Greenleaf is the past President and 1st Vice President of the Mid-America Performing Arts Association. He is credited with the significant growth in membership and quality of the Association during his presidency. Mr. Greenleaf is also a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Kappa Kappa Psi.

Currently, Mr. Greenleaf serves on the Executive Board of the North Texas Color Guard Association, as well as serving on the Winter Guard International steering committee to the executive board.
