· Color Guard Rehearsals – Varsity practice Monday & Thursday; JV practice Wednesday
· Saturday January 25th 7:30pm performance – Varsity Color Guard, NTCA at South Grand Prairie HS.

New: UIL Solo/Ensemble Performance February 22nd ($60 Accompanist Fee due February 3rd)
Each February, all Band students have the opportunity to perform a Solo/Ensemble and receive a rating. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, February 22nd at Panther Creek High School (times TBA). Most student pieces require an accompanist for rehearsals and performance (check with your student to confirm they are using an accompanist). The Accompanist Fee is $60. Please complete the following commitment form and return it your band director by February 3rd. Payments can be made to TBBA via Zelle (preferred), Check or Cash (in envelope with student’s name deposited to black box in band hall). Please contact Ms. Kay with any questions (kaya@friscoisd.org)
Reminder: Senior Banquet photos due January 31st
Greg McGuire, our Technology Officer is organizing the photo and video shows for this year’s banquet. Your senior student received an email last week requesting them to submit 10-15 pictures to be included in the slide show. These pictures should range from baby to senior pictures and must be submitted by January 31st. This is your student’s responsibility, but we thought you’d like to help them 😊
