Hello Titan Band and Color Guard Families!
CONGRATULATIONS to the students on their AMAZING first competition. We placed 2nd in Class 5A and 6th overall. We are so proud of everyone’s hard work and how great the show looks already. We are grateful to our board members and parent volunteers who put in 10+ hour day to make it all possible. THANK YOU to the families & friends who came out to support the Band Saturday. I was at ground level and could hear your enthusiastic cheering before and after the performance.
Our busy marching season continues this week:
Monday: No Practice. Get some rest and be ready for the rest of this week
Tuesday & Thursday: After school practice 4:45pm – 7:15pm
Wednesday: Special practice at Kuykendall 5:30pm-8pm. Student’s are responsible for their own transportation and parents are welcome to attend. Please let a director know if you have any issues or concerns.
Friday: Homecoming Football Game at Toyota Stadium.
Saturday: Don Hanna Memorial Marching Contest. Band Hall Opens at 12:00pm. Prelim Performance at 3:30pm. Students should eat breakfast/lunch at home. Boosters will provide dinner after the preliminary performance. Return to school TBD (depends on finals schedule). Updates will be posted in the Parent WhatsApp group as well as our social media accounts. Extra Volunteers Needed this week for chaperone & food service: Every event takes at least 5+ food service helpers and 7-12 Chaperones. For anyone that has not signed up to volunteer yet this year, NOW is the time. Signup Genius links are available on each Event Card (under Schedule & Tickets).
